ΝEW TECHNOLOGIES

Intending to provide your child with the most accurate diagnosis and the most effective and personalized treatment, we are constantly investing in new scientific methods, materials, and equipment. Technology in dentistry is constantly evolving and our pediatric dentist, Dr. Effie Syrrakou, DDS, MSc, is aware of this.

Our goal is to provide solutions to the most complex dental problems in a modern scientific approach, directly, painlessly, and effectively.

ELECTRONIC ANESTHESIA

A painless method of anesthesia (numbing) of the teeth. The anesthetic solution is injected directly into the bone around the tooth being treated at an electronically controlled rate.

In this way, soft tissues such as the lips and tongue are not anaesthetised.

With this method we avoid the unpleasant numbing sensation to the lips or tongue which leads many children to injure themselves by unintentional biting after the treatment is over.

In addition, the device is not at all like the conventional “shot” that most children are afraid of, so they are relaxed during the treatment.

SOFT TISSUE LASER

Small surgical procedures such lip or tongue tie excision, removal of cysts, gum surgery, treatment of aphthous ulcerations or herpes require the use of Laser.

One of the main advantages of using Laser in pediatric dentistry is that the treatment is painless and only a small amount of anesthetic gel is required.

In addition, bleeding is minimal, and healing is significantly accelerated with no microbial contamination.

INVISIBLE ORTHODONTIC SPLINTS

Treatment with orthodontic splints is an invisible way to straighten the teeth of children, adolescents, and adults.

Using sophisticated 3D computer imaging technologies, we present you the complete treatment plan from the initial tooth position to the final desired position.

A series of clear splints are then printed at the lab, so teeth can be moved gradually and safely.

The patient wears each splint for about two weeks and then replaces it with the next in the series, so that the teeth move gradually to the expected final position.

DIGITAL X-RAY

Dental X-rays allow the dentist to see diseases or conditions in your child’s mouth that are not visible to the naked eye, such as caries lesions between teeth, the position of teeth that have not erupted, cysts, etc.

At our practice, we use the most modern way of taking x-rays with a low radiation equipment and digital display and storage.

Thus, the procedure is safe with minimum adverse effects on the child.

BPA FREE MATERIALS

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a chemical substance used in the manufacture of plastic and dental materials.

Exposure to BPA is considered harmful to human health, especially for children.

In our practice, we use dental materials for fillings and sealants that do not contain BPA.

Thus, we ensure the best possible result with the most natural and child-friendly materials.

DISINFECTION STERILIZATION

Health and safety of our patients and staff have always been our number one priority. Our main commitment is the highest standard of care in the cleanest possible conditions. Our sterilization and disinfection methods are in accordance with current international standards.

Doctors and staff wear personal protective equipment (mask, gloves, etc.) for each patient. Instruments used after each patient are rigorously cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, placed in special packaging, and sterilized in an autoclave. Dental chairs and workbenches surfaces are thoroughly sanitized. Disposable items are used wherever possible and are responsibly discarded after each patient.

Our goal is to provide dental treatment of excellent quality.

That is why we constantly invest in new technological equipment and modern materials and tools.
