Μarilia Michalaki, DDS MSc

Pediatric Dentist

Ms. Michalaki graduated from the School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens

in 2017 having been distinguished for her outstanding academic performance throughout her studies. Her dedication, consistency, and strong scientific background led Dr. Effie to invite her to join the dental practice team as early as her fourth year of studies. Her excellence was further recognized when she delivered the Hippocratic Oath at her graduation ceremony.

In June 2026, she successfully completed the three-year postgraduate program in Paediatric Dentistry (MSc in Paediatric Dentistry) at the Department of Paediatric Dentistry of the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London (UCL), United Kingdom, where she gained advanced knowledge and clinical experience in the prevention and treatment of the dental needs of children and adolescents.

Her philosophy is centered on creating a positive and enjoyable experience for every child visiting the dental clinic. With natural kindness, patience, and empathy, she approaches each young patient in a way that inspires trust and a sense of safety. Through play, communication, and individualized care, she transforms dental visits into a creative and pleasant experience, helping children develop a healthy relationship with their oral health.

Dentistry represents for her the ideal combination of scientific thinking, artistic perception, and surgical skill. If she were not a dentist, she would undoubtedly be a teacher, as her passion lies in educating, inspiring, and creating alongside children.

Sophia Saridou, DDS

Dentist

Ms. Saridou is a dentist with a strong interest and dedication to Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry,

fields in which she has chosen to focus her professional career. Guided by individualized care and the creation of positive experiences for children, she combines her scientific training with patience, sensitivity, and empathy. Her goal is for every child to feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed during their dental visit, fostering from an early age a healthy relationship with oral care.

Her warm personality, calm approach, and ability to communicate effectively with young patients help build relationships of trust with both children and their parents. For this reason, she has earned the appreciation and affection of many families, becoming one of the most beloved members of our clinic team.

She graduated in 2020 from Comenius University in Bratislava, acquiring a strong theoretical and clinical foundation in Dentistry. Her commitment to continuous academic development has led her to pursue further studies, and she is currently a postgraduate student in the program “Food, Nutrition and Microbiome” at Democritus University of Thrace, expanding her knowledge in fields closely linked to both general and oral health.

Alongside her clinical work, she is actively involved in the scientific community through research projects, academic writing and publications, as well as participation in conferences and educational activities in Greece and abroad.

Evangelia is the first person you will hear and see welcoming you to the clinic.

With her tremendous patience, she will manage to find the appointment that best suits you, and with her love for children she will become your son’s or daughter’s first friend. She is the one who has the key to the Playstation! She is very popular with our young patients since she is the one that will give each child their gift at the end of each treatment.

Loukia is a graduate of the school of dental assistants.

She has been working with us for 13 years and is responsible for both the sensitive issue of sterilization/disinfection of the area and tools, as well as for the supplies of the practice. With her hard work and high sense of responsibility, she is the right hand of our practice.

Athina is a graduate of a Nursing Assistant school.

With her warm personality, calm demeanor, and caring nature, she contributes daily to creating a friendly and welcoming environment for our young patients.

She is often the first person to help a child feel comfortable in the dental chair, whether by choosing together the movie they will watch during treatment or by offering a reassuring hand when extra comfort and confidence are needed.

In addition, she is passionate about photography, with a particular love for children’s portraiture. This creative pursuit reflects her sensitivity, attentiveness, and natural connection with the world of children.
